I know that I need credit reports for my credit repair program, but which ones are the best?
Any credit report should be okay for your credit repair program. But it is our considered opinion that it is always good to pick a report that is as user friendly as possible. There is enough work involved with credit repair without adding frustration to the process. And some credit reports are difficult to decipher unless you are quite adept at reading credit data.
The Problem with Free Reports
You can get a free report from the three credit bureaus one time each 12 months. The website that is set up to give access to your free reports is AnnualCreditReport.com. It is wonderful that these free reports are available, but in truth they are both difficult to obtain and difficult to read.
The User Friendly Choice
We recommend a nice tri-merged report for credit repair purposes. Tri-merged reports are available from the credit bureaus website’s as well as a variety of vendors, many of whom offer potentially attractive ancillary services such as identity theft monitoring. These reports cost between 15 and 25 dollars and are well worth the investment.
