Credit repair is a step-by-step process. The steps are simple enough: dispute errors on your credit report, and take whatever actions are needed on your part to improve your scores. But the duration of your membership, and the whole process, even after you are done at Sky Blue, depends on many factors.
Credit Bureau Disputes
At Sky Blue, your monthly membership includes five disputes per credit bureau for a total of fifteen items. This is the quickest dispute pace in the business, and should give you a rough idea of how many months you may want to keep your membership.
Keep in mind that credit repair companies like Sky Blue provide dispute services, they do not “remove” accounts from your credit report. Ours is always a best effort, and as smart as our dispute process is, it is the bureaus and the creditor that will determine if the disputed item will stop reporting. Hence, if a dispute does not get the desired result, it may make sense to have another go.
Score Improvement Actions
Your membership also includes specific actionable credit score tips. At Sky Blue these are practical steps that are well proven to have an impact on your scores, and may include opening new accounts, reducing balances, and making plans to pay off legitimate collections.
We try to make our tips as achievable as possible so you can take action right away, but even so, the impact on your scores can take time; if you have no active credit and need to open secured credit cards to rebuild, it can take several months before the new accounts have a positive impact.
If you would like to discuss your situation with us, please give a call. No pushy sales people here, just straight answers. It’s all part of the Best in Class Support you will experience at Sky Blue.
