The duration of the credit repair process depends on the number of issues you want to dispute, the responsiveness of the bureaus, and the type of rebuilding effort you require.
The credit bureaus have 30 days to process disputes, and we dispute 15 items (5 items per bureau) per round, so there are built-in waiting periods as we work through your list.
Credit Bureau Responsiveness
Remember, credit repair companies dispute errors, they do not “remove” accounts, and because the bureaus often do not comply, it may make sense to re-dispute in the hopes of getting the desired result.
Rebuilding Your Credit
To reach your goal you may need to rebuild your credit, reduce balances, and possibly make plans to pay off legitimate collections. Some things take time; if you have no active credit and need to open secured credit cards, it can take several months before the new accounts have a positive impact.
