I’m three months into the credit repair program and I have not seen any changes in my credit score. What’s wrong?
There are several reasons your credit score may not have improved thus far in your credit repair program. You have to understand that credit scores are based on the total content of your credit report. You can have great credit repair progress in removing derogatory information from your credit report and yet see no improvement in your scores.
Emphasize the Positive
This seems odd to many credit repair clients, but it is important to grasp that credit scores are not naturally buoyant. This means that, although it is possible for your credit scores to rise when a derogatory item is deleted, it is not a given. In order for your scores to increase you must have open, positive accounts showing on your report. This is the reason that we stress the necessity of rebuilding and managing credit to our credit repair clients.
Play Your Role
It is not uncommon at all for people to be disappointed with their credit score progress even in the face of a dramatic clean up of their credit report. The Sky Blue Credit Repair program is designed to insure that your credit scores improve steadily, month by month while you are in our program. From the start you will be given customized recommendations for rebuilding, managing, and restructuring the content of your report as we deem appropriate. As we work on the clean up side of your credit repair, you will take constructive action to make sure your scores are moving the right direction.
