The Credit Repair Cure
FICO scores range from 300 to 850. The higher the number the better, but if your scores are low do not be discouraged. There is no situation that cannot be mitigated with an intelligent application of credit repair. The process of improving your credit scores is scientific. If you do the right things your scores will recover, and probably much sooner than you think.
What is a Good Credit Score?
Different lenders have different requirements. Some lenders today require a minimum score of 620, but many lenders’ score requirements are higher. A good score is one that will work for you, but keep in mind that many lenders use tiered pricing so the higher your score the lower your interest rate is likely to be.
From the MyFICO.com website:
“And while many lenders use FICO scores to help them make lending decisions, each lender has its own strategy, including the level of risk it finds acceptable for a given credit product. There is no single “cutoff score” used by all lenders and there are many additional factors that lenders use to determine your actual interest rates.”
